Service List

  • 24 hour security and assistance for our residents as needed
  • CMT,CMA CNA and PCM under LPN supervision
  • All medications administered, monitored, and even re-ordered as needed
  • We provide 3 balanced meals daily, including ADA special diets, plus snacks
  • All resident laundry and housekeeping services are provided
  • Assistance with dressing in the morning, preparation for bed at night
  • Personal hygiene assistance, including toileting, Bowel and bladder training, and assistance with incontinence care
  • Assistance with bathing in the resident’s private bathroom
  • Overall monitoring of the resident by a LPN
  • Ability to monitor and check on residents daily, hourly, or as needed
  • Vital signs, blood sugar monitoring, medication reaction monitoring
  • We assist with obtaining Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy, and occupational therapy when ordered by the physician
  • Assistance with arranging for home health or hospice, as needed
  • Physician ordered treatments or therapies, injections, and flu shots
  • Ability for residents to return to and stay here for recuperation after a fall, fractured hip, stroke, etc
  • Social and recreational opportunities, exercise programs, entertainment
  • Outside trips to shows, events, shopping
  • Transportation available for outside appointments
  • Protective oversight provided 24 hours/day (except when on leave from the building)
  • Additional assistance on those “bad days” such as escorts to meals
  • We will work with the attending physician on behalf of the family/resident
  • Placement assistance if you ever do need to be transferred to another setting
  • Ability to remain at Wedgewood with Hospice assistance even if not able to exit  the building with minimal assistance


Residents living in licensed Assisted Living Facilities (ALFs) in Missouri are able to exit the building with “minimal assistance”. These rules concerning being able to exit the building with “minimal assistance” do not apply during periods of recovery or while under the care of a licensed hospice agency, and we have staff here 24/7 to assist with the care and safety needs of our residents.

As you can see, we can meet the needs of almost any individual who is not bedfast or highly confused. And we do all this at a cost that is about half that of other options available in an atmosphere conducive to wellness, socialization, and independence.
